DAY 1: GOLF AT BARNBOUGLE DUNES

You will be welcomed at Launceston Airport by our Tasmanian partner for the 1-hour journey to the Barnbougle and Lost farm complex.
Immerse yourself in the beauty of Barnbougle Dunes, a masterpiece designed by Tom Doak and Australia's Michael Clayton. This links-style course features a landscape of voluptuous dunes, sandy waste, and rough terrain, providing a challenging yet exhilarating golfing experience.
Steer your way across coastal ridges to greens perched between thick tussock grass avoiding the bunkers, some the size of small beaches, and strategize your way through bumpy fairways and lively greens. The course's unique design encourages thoughtful play, making it an ideal setting for both seasoned players and those seeking a memorable golfing experience.
To help protect the stability of the sand dunes, the golf course is a walking only course.
Note: If walking the course is a challenge due to medical reasons, we can arrange for an escorted golf cart, provided it is booked in advance with a current medical certificate to verify your position.
Large-wheel pull buggies are available for hire. There are a limited number of electric buggies are also available. Please get in touch as we’ll endeavour to book one for you.
Check-in to the Lost Farm Lodge after golf. Open-plan rooms and views across Anderson Bay and the Lost Farm Golf Course create a spectacular experience for all guests. Wake up right on course, with only a short stroll to the Lodge Restaurant, Spa, clubhouse and first tee.

Begin your day with a delightful hot breakfast at the Lost Farm restaurant. Following breakfast, it's time to check out before your round of golf at Barnbougle Lost Farm.
Nestled amidst the stunning landscape, Barnbougle Lost Farm is a 20-hole golf course that offers a unique and challenging experience. While it shares proximity with Barnbougle Dunes, Lost Farm distinguishes itself with steeper and more dramatic dunes, providing two magnificent golf experiences. The course, crafted by head architect Bill Coore, complements the landscape perfectly, offering a diverse and exciting challenge for golfers.
After a spectacular day on the dunes, embark on a short 40-minute journey to the heart of Launceston for your stay at The Sebel. Before reaching your destination, indulge in a wine-tasting experience at a select winery in the Tamar Valley.
At The Sebel, take in the scenic surroundings from your balcony while enjoying a complimentary welcome bottle of the House of Arras, a premium Tasmanian sparkling wine. Embark on an early adventure today as you board a flight to King Island, where a warm welcome awaits from your knowledgeable local guide. To kick-start your day in style, savour a delicious bacon and egg roll paired with a meticulously crafted barista-made coffee upon arrival.
Prepare for an extraordinary golfing experience at Ocean Dunes, a course that has redefined the world's appreciation for exceptional golf in remote and challenging locales. Nestled on the west coast, the course is strategically layered as it is visually mesmerizing, changing with the seasons and the volatile conditions. Designed by Graeme Grant, Ocean Dunes sits on terrain tailor-made for golf, featuring rolling dunes and unrivalled views spanning 2 km of coastline. Contrasting with the links further north at Cape Wickham, Ocean Dunes boasts more undulating green complexes. Here fortune favours the brave off the tee-box; heroic tee shots make for simple approaches to the greens. Two signature par threes with ocean crosses are bound to delight as will the unbelievable ocean views from almost every hole.

DAY 4: GOLF AT CAPE WICKHAM

With breakfast included you will be set for the final day of your tour. Today you tackle the top rated Cape Wickham Course located on the northern tip of the island. Masterfully designed by Mike DeVries and Darius Oliver the course weaves through a variety of landscapes and presents a rare and dramatic mix of coastal holes that lean gently towards the ocean, with the eleventh hole being positioned almost in the sea. Eight holes straddle the coastline and every hole has a sea view. The course is cleverly routed, taking advantage of Australia’s tallest lighthouse, located to the north of the 15th green. The course has long and wide fairways with undulating greens, rugged ridges and giant sand dunes.
A last-minute stop at King Island Dairy en-route to the airport. will top off this memorable trip as you bid farewell the land of hefty Angus cattle, beautiful bays and beaches, a stunning lighthouse, superb produce and two world-class golf courses.
