The resort has two accommodation offerings: Fancourt Hotel with 115 guest rooms; and the original homestead, built in 1859 and now rejuvenated as the new luxury boutique hotel The Manor House at Fancourt with eighteen luxurious suites.

Montagu Course
Originally designed by Gary Player, Fancourt’s Montagu course has developed into one of the finest 18-hole parkland layouts, earning it the number 5 position on South Africa’s Top Courses List Exquisitely conditioned to provide a riveting golfing experience, this tree-lined course covers large tracts of varying terrain on rolling land. A warm-up area, featuring a full-length range and a chipping and bunker practice area, is available to golfers before play. Golf carts are available for hire, weather permitting.

Outeniqua Course
Ranked 20th in South Africa’s Top Courses, Fancourt’s Outeniqua golf course has been designed as a leisurely golfing experience, providing a more forgiving terrain than its counterpart, Montagu, but with its fair share of challenges. Designed by Gary Player and named after the Outeniqua mountain, views of which can be admired throughout your game, Outeniqua is pristinely conditioned to accommodate a large field of golfers. A warm-up area, featuring a full-length range and a chipping and bunker practice area, is available to golfers before play.

The Links

The Links is South Africa’s top rated course and is exclusive to its select membership and their guests, The Links offers limited tee times to Fancourt Hotel and Manor House guests who meet minimum reservation requirements.

Sculpted into what Gary Player has described as his greatest feat as a course designer, The Links is the golfing hallmark of the Fancourt estate. Featuring an undulating, windswept terrain and dune-style landscape, the course is the collaborative handiwork of Player, course designer, Phil Jacobs and its owner, Dr. Hasso Plattner. Transformed from an airfield into an amazing piece of environmental and golfing heritage, The Links is currently ranked as the number one golf course in the country by Golf Digest South Africa.
